| ABOUT ABUNDANCE MASSAGE
I grew up in and around a small city in northern California where Iíve spent all but three years of my thirty-one. In 2003, I went to herb school with the intention of becoming a clinical herbalist, only to find myself definitively detoured to a track toward massage school. I graduated from the Arizona School of Massage Therapyís Tempe campus in May of 2004. I returned home some months later and began my first private practice in early 2005. I trained with Doulas Of North America (DONA) in 2007 and Infant Massage USA in 2009, but did not complete certification with either group for various reasons. 2012 came along and all the stars and planets aligned to send me to Arizona and New Hampshire for the first two levels of training in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT). Across these past nine years, Iíve made and remade my practice nearly half a dozen times; made grievous business errors and had some great financial triumphs; studied herbs, essential oils, birth, pregnancy, and fertility; helped to heal some, helped some come Earth-side, and helped others pass beyond the veil. Iíve come face to face with faith and belief, tried to sort my wheat from my tares, and find my female face in the Divine. Iíve changed political parties and ideologies, and stayed single: first by happenstance and lately by choice. I dream big and absurd things and hope someday theyíll work. Sometimes they do.
